No. Test results, history and vibration patterns stay on your phone, and an exported report goes straight to whichever app you pick in the share sheet. The app does collect anonymous usage statistics — which pages get opened, plus crash reports — containing no controller data and nothing personal. The privacy policy has the full details.

Each record is a few kilobytes of text, so space is not a concern. You can delete a single record, or clear every record for one controller, from Test History. Records are saved automatically when a Full Test finishes.

Only two reasons: the Android version — motion sensors need 12 or newer, touchpad capture needs 8.0 or newer — or a capability your controller does not have, such as no motor, no gyroscope, no touchpad or no analog stick. Device Info lists what the connected pad exposes, and the tools follow that.

Settings → About → Send feedback. Your phone model, Android version and app version are attached automatically, which is usually what we need to reproduce the problem. If a controller is not being detected, telling us its exact model and how it is connected helps a lot.
