Why does it say this phone can't be a gamepad?#

Acting as a Bluetooth gamepad has been part of Android since version 9, but each manufacturer decides whether to switch it on, and some firmware leaves it off — no app can add it back. It is most common on older OnePlus and LG models, some regional firmware and custom ROMs. The free Bluetooth HID Profile Tester app checks exactly the same thing if you want a second opinion. After a system update, go back to the home screen and check again.

It says “Can't register as a gamepad”.#

Android lets only one app at a time act as a Bluetooth input device, so another gamepad, keyboard or mouse app is most likely holding that slot. Close it and check again.

How do I report a problem or suggest something?#
